We have enough young talent at the club, baring a young KPF being drafted, possibly later in the draft, all our draft picks should be on the table. If we miss Treloar, then Prestia, who has not signed with GC yet should be at the top of our list. We need to get in proven A graders or your fallen hopes (Aish) we simply do not need more draftees. It's time top up and keep developing the 10 or 12 kids we have. We know that we do not have room currently in our seniors to play people we need to get games into. We don't need 4 more.

Quality over quantity from here. Three things in priority order:
- A grade KPF
- A grade mid
- whippet indigenous kid

Is Rance restricted or unrestricted?

Could be a good pick up but I believe there are a few clubs more desperate than us. Looking at you "untouchable" bears.....

why would you say that budgie given his very rapid progress this year. His athletic qualities are off the scale, and he seems to be improving in his on field contribution each week.

Putting aside his off field stupidity lately, wouldn't Dixon be worth a punt? Or another KPF we could prise away from another club? It would compliment Cloke, free Reid to play at CHB, and let Jesse run around as the athletic, pacey 3rd tall. Given that Treloar looks set to stay (same for Coniglio), and Danger's manager said he'd only leave to go "home" to his family, I'd be lining up a tall forward as it's a glaring hole in our squad that we shouldn't pressure someone like Moore to fill so early.

Depending on what we are looking for, I find it very interesting that with Bellchambers being dropped, that Giles didn't get a crack at first ruck at the Bombers.

If we are in need of another ruck (doubtful) then Giles could be worth looking at (or use in a three way trade?)

agree we need games into our top picks. i expect they will soon as losses will being change and with a hard draw now looming we will be more players being omitted

The reason he is an elite player is his marking ability.. that's largely wasted playing in the midfield.

Also he struggles to win high possession numbers, isn't quick enough to be a speedy outside midfielder or good enough in and under to be an inside one.

He'll only ever be a part time midfielder at best, but if he kicks 60 goals a year up forward as well then we have a gem regardless.
