I would be surprised to see Aish leave the Lions to go to Carlton. He'd be better off staying up there, so much more upside in that list. Carlton will be shit for another 5 years, where Brisbane or only a couple of KPP's away from playing finals.

I'd love him at Collingwood though!!

Agree - Might as well stay in QLD IF you wanted to go to the Scum

Do people want the weed because they have seen him play a lot of football or because of his last name?
The latter almost without exception.

No to 1st 2015 and 2nd 2016 for Treloar nonsense it should be the other way around so we can get McKay or the Weed
In an ideal world that would be the case, but GWS would be taking a significant gamble by taking next years first versus this years which will be top 10. I can't see them agreeing to it.

They might like the idea of an extra 1st rounder in a stronger draft next year and who knows we might win the spoon in 2016 ;)

It is understood that Trigg – the former Adelaide CEO – is a close friend of the Aish family
So he's going to Carlton because his Dad is mates with a guy in the administration at Carlton that he will have very little to do with?

Seems like a stretch. Would rather be playing footy every week with my best mate if I were him ;)

Forget about Dangerfield.
We are far better off if we can get Treloar. He is 3 years younger, comes a little cheaper, doesn't command as big a salary and most importantly won't be brought in as a "messiah" which history shows rarely works.
Agreed 100% would happily give up our first and 2nd pick if need be

I can only tell you what the jungle drums are saying, doesn't sound like we can afford both Treloar and Aish anyway

This board underrates Aish an incredible amount. The kid is going to be an absolute superstar, bookmark it. If we could manage to get Treloar and Aish in one trade period it would be one of the biggest coups in off-season history and will set our midfield up for the next 10 years.

I would happily give up our first two round picks if it meant landing Aish and Treloar. We've obviously been quite active in recent drafts and I would fully support trading pick 8 or whatever we had to get our man.

Watching the other 17 teams and their supporters hate on us for landing both Aish and Treloar is reason enough to get them both across the line

That's mine...
The saying "that's mine" is mine. I had a missus who realised I was saying that's mine a lot. I never realised until she started copying me when I'd say it. Anyway, that relationship didn't work out but at least I'd already established what was mine when it went **** up.

A wise policy...:D

If your mob can pick up Aish and Treloar this year there is a heap of top four finishes coming your way. Hate to say it but your list will be the best in the comp pretty soon... :(

I think GWS would insist on a "Dayne Beams" return for Treloar.
So Collingwood would need to offer 1st and 2nd round picks + a fringe player like Seedsman.

For Aish, I would use the Polec trade as a template : 2nd and 3rd round picks.
It will mean that Collingwood has to make another trade to get a high 2nd round pick or low first rounder from another club. They probably need to use Witts as trade bait to do that.
