It didn't for Collingwood in 2007. Anyone know why West Coast wore wings in that particular match?

You make a good point.
**** that; Hawthorn made their bed, they can lie in it.
Unless the push somehow results in the Eagles wearing wings, then the AFL should just stick to the status quo and have WCE in tri-panel and HAW in power rangers
I'll be shocked if the Hawks aren't in their home jumper on Friday and I'm prepared to write angry posts on bigfooty if we're forced into the clash again.
Just gimme all royal please please please. How great does this combo look? Full royal vs Hawks home w/ white shorts was last seen in 2005 at Subiaco.

It would be great but it would just be another example of the AFL not having the balls to tell a Victorian club to wear a clash jumper in a final.
I'm fully expecting the AFL to grant their request so hopefully WC make as much noise as Port did last year.
You reckon the AFL will make WCE wear white at home? I bloody well hope not. I thought the debacle of last year's Port vs Richmond final put this thing to rest! It's not like Hawthorn's guernsey isn't actually functional as a clash prevention, unlike Richmond's piss poor attempt from 2014. It's just that the Hawks are too embarrassed to wear the thing in a final. Lesson should be if you design a clash jumper then you should be proud (or at least tolerant) to wear it on all occasions. Case in point, Freo in the 2013 grand final. An example set.
Who says they won't? That's totally what I expect to happen. You're literally getting angry over speculation
Preparing my pitchfork if we wear white or tripanel/white shorts.
Although in principle I should still be angry, a full royal kit would appease me - and hopefully push ReturnTheWings along
