Traded James Aish [traded to Collingwood for #26 and St Kilda's 2016 second round pick]

Serious question for Brisbane fans. Would two second rounders be an acceptable trade for Aish in your opinion?

We need all the picks we can get for our academy kids.

Assuming it's an earlyish second rounder (say 25+28) then that'd be solid.

Wouldn't mind another draft pick in the later rounds as well.

2X+2X+35-9ish would be a good result for us.

I get the feeling the Pies aren't willing to pay overs to get Aish so I imagine our offer will be our second round pick (26ish?) and Brisbane's choice of:
Seedsman
Oxley
Kennedy
Ramsey
Frost
Goldsack
Blair

Possibly Fasolo or Langdon at a stretch?

If Collingwood think they'll make the 8 next year and end up with a pick around 15 or 16 they might offer that by itself

Frost has looked good as a young KPD. Reads the play well, can blanket an opponent. Not high possies but if I was Collingwood, I would definitely keep!!!

Really why would we want Astbury? We're likely to get Schache with SOS preferring Wietering than Schache at 1#

Not a fan of Astbury personally. We have a lot of young defenders who can cover 2nd/3rd forwards and I don't see him as a capable 1st forward defender. That and he's rarely seen in the seniors leaves him as steak knives at best.

Why shouldn't we to try to win a trade for once we're often the ones losing the trade. Aish was a top 10 pick we only want fair compensation a 2nd round pick and Seedsman doesn't quite cut it

True but he is a depth player atm whereas Aish would probably be in our best 22 as an outside user

I don't know anything about the trade itself though. I know we're into Aish so it makes sense for these two guys to be involved in the one deal.
