I love how Richmond fans think the players they are trying to convince people are good because no club is remotely interested are somehow equal to players they are desperately trying to get

its only a rumour until TW43 has looked at other boards rumour threads to confirm or deny. Its what he calls it "fact checking"

A process remarkably similar to DavillaBlues method of "fact creation".

Should be able to get him for a 2nd round pick as he's been playing in the VFL majority of the time. Got dropped before the finals too so even a 2nd rounder might be too much.
I heard he is disgruntled at Richmond too (what have they done to him to make hime hate the place so much!). ;) 2nd rounder (pick 20) to high I reckon. Fringe player like Blaine Johnson (I know we delisted but forms haves been filed yet) should get it done. Richmond will be desperate. They wouldn't want a disgruntled player on their list clogging up a list spot. :):):)

Edit: I just remembered, Johnson kills it in the VFL too, so he is definitely someone Richmond should look at. Imagine him, McBean, and Astbury in the same side (in the VFL)!!!

To go along with the Bluemour post about Yarran and Melbourne.

Melbourne board has mentioned seeing Paul Connors (Yarrans manager) over at the Dees HQ today. Obviously Connors would have many players and many discussion but still, food for thought and discussion.
Was there to "discuss" Jack Watts, that is not to say Yarran did not come up but it was a meeting regarding Watts

O'Meara wanting out would be a rumour yeah? We've just extrapolated that out to be 'could we get him?'

ODN, I think the chain went

- someone saw him on instagram wearing a blue t-shirt
- he's wearing blue t-shirts
- he's wearing blues t-shirts
- he's a blues supporter
- he supported us as a kid
- his mum once drove past Shane Rogers' house
- he's contracted til 2016
- he's signed a contract contract with us for us for 2016
- we should have the cap space after Juddy, Carrots and Warnock go
- Andrew Walker is known for wearing caps
- Greg Denham once stood next to JOM's manager in the mens room. As a result, he is certain we are trading JOM in exchange for Bell, Yaz pick, Warnock, Hendo & Ben Lennon. GC also pay out Liam Jones's contract and half of Travis Cloke's remaining front/backended contract but get Lochlan Veale in return.
- Aphrodite is it too early to start a welcome thread?

Just keep hitting refresh like I do, hoping to get some 'nice' pics in the advertising links below.

It makes everything CFC seem better somehow.

I tried that but it just provided advice from Zac Tuohy's travel blog...

You're right. It's not a rumour. It's a bona fide fact.

Was leading our best and fairest last year before getting injured kept majority of key forwards to very little goals without injures will be a great backman which i expect since he has been less injured this year, anyway that's all im going to say

I would give 5 years to Carlisle which would put him at 28 when the contract expires.

AFL should implement NBA style with player and team options
so we can give Carlisle a 4 year deal with 5th year as team option

I'd give him 5 years too because we mightn't have him for the first 2.

In what universe is pick 22 not enough for yarran? that is the perfect number right in the middle between our original pick and our first rounder

I'll take a stab and say the same universe in which a contracted player goes nowhere unless his club agrees.

I'd prefer we make the petulant prick sit out the season than sell him for unders.

Lennon would cost you a first rounder

Well didn't you say earlier that pick 21 is what we would get for Yarran from richmond and thats pretty much a first rounder.

Well how about you keep pick 21 and give us lennon. Like you said pick 21 is pretty much a first rounder.

Except for the fact that lennon was pick 12 2 years ago and has done nothing to decrease his value yet, so he is still worth around pick 12

And Yarran was a pick 6, and has had 1 bad year because he's sick of our club. Drops him back to a mid first-rounder in a weak draft (could be late first round or beyond if he wasn't contracted). He's a risk vs. reward proposition - if you back your club and culture to turn him around, you've paid a mid first rounder for a top 6 talent.

In yarrans whole career just about every year he has been far from consistent
