Is he willing to risk going elsewhere? I am sure plenty of the Vic clubs would take a punt on drafting him ahead of Geelong given he would be closer to his family and from memory he wouldn't be a free agent if he wanted to leave after the 1st contract.

They can't. Crows will be able to match upward of 1.2M. Its reported to be 5 years at 800k. Theres no way we dont match.

We can't lose what we don't have, but regardless we would be willing to "lose" Danger if the only way crows would accept a trade, if it came to that, was 2 first rounders plus a best 22 young player.

That's the thing, they are guaranteed a 1st rounder anyway. You would absolutely tell them to get stuffed if the only thing of value being offered was a few places higher in the 1st round.
