A lot of your irons in the fire are fizzling out
Kruezer for pick 2 hasn't worked
Henderson for gee longs first rounder has probably been destroyed by dangerfield complications
Richmond seem like they are keener on bennell than yarran. Let Carlisle nominate you first
If he does he is doing so for the money as your list is in worse shape than ours wada cloud not withstanding
You came last for a reason terrible list with few good players

I would take that.Carlisle for 20+ either 19 or 21(bell) to the blues, equates to around the 6th pick in points. gives essendon 19/21, 20, 23 to play around with.
Because he is waiting for Hawthorn's season to end so he can nominate them. Why hasn't he nominated a team yet?

Apparently he is on his way back from the UK so he might be waiting until then....Why hasn't he nominated a team yet?
Fourth last with a huge scandal hanging over our players headsYou had a terrific list and you also had a wonderful coach...............and look what happened. Fourth last
A small part of me is wishing for Carlisle to make it to Carlton.....................and for all the wrong reasons.
Fourth last with a huge scandal hanging over our players heads
One way or the other it will be sorted in the new year
Obviously we hope 2 year bans do not occur
Compare our lists mate
Your side has come last how many times in the last decade? Yet with those draft picks you have been able to produce jack.
As I have stated in this thread I believe SOS will lead you on the right path and weitering is a fantastic young player.
You are criticising our former coach. That is the pot calling the kettle black
I'm not beating my chest but your arrogance regarding Carlisle is just irritating. I agree draft sanctions will further thankfully we seem to have drafted well in Langford and Laverde last year and avoided boekhurst the year before and brought in McKenna and Edwards who both have pace and talent. You would have noticed them in the vfl finals but your vfl aligned club is a basket caseCompare our positions mate....................you've got nothing to beat your chest about.
Ryder gone.....Carlisle gone.....The draft sanctions are going to come back to bite. Don't get ahead of yourself just yet.
That's what I'm concerned about...Apparently he is on his way back from the UK so he might be waiting until then....
Or he is waiting until Hawthorn finish their season and tell Lake he is no longer required?
That's what I'm concerned about...
Yes.You're concerned about getting Carlisle?
Considering he only got back from UK today i believe, and hasn't nominated a club yet, i very much doubt it.
Well my dad has a better job than your dad.I'm not beating my chest but your arrogance regarding Carlisle is just irritating. Was that Essendon? The same deal that required AFL mediation?
Was that Essendon?
Or was it Port wanting more so they bought Essendon in. Check up on the facts dude before you spout the media driven shit.
You didn't have enough for Port, so Essendon came in and gave up 16 for Williams. Port got pick 9 and 16, you got Burgoyne we got pick 26 and Williams. yet you blame us??
**** off.
Know two blokes who have worked in list management and recruiting at different clubs, and its common knowledge amongst those in the league that you want to avoid having to deal with Essendon in trade week, and I don't know why you'd even argue that considering their history. Nothing to do with "media driven shit".Was that Essendon?

4 days of failed mediation that ended up getting us another pick.Know two blokes who have worked in list management and recruiting at different clubs, and its common knowledge amongst those in the league that you want to avoid having to deal with Essendon in trade week, and I don't know why you'd even argue that considering their history. 4 days of failed mediation last year with Ryder as well, in case you missed it.
I never said Hawks were difficult to deal with. If you lack the comprehension to understand basic communication I suggest you stop posting. So you have one example from 5 years ago to prove the point Hawthorn are tough to deal with?
The last 3 off-season suggests they are fine to deal with. They pin point their target, give the other team a good offer and get the deal done.
Bravo Hawthorn, bravo.
So the outcome justifies the means....sounds exactly like a club who is easy to deal with.4 days of failed mediation that ended up getting us another pick.
I missed nothing, but it seems you did.
Adrian, is that you?4 days of failed mediation that ended up getting us another pick.
I missed nothing, but it seems you did.
We considered pick 17 not enough for Ryder. So the outcome justifies the means....sounds exactly like a club who is easy to deal with.
We were also hard to deal with when we traded pick 37 for Cooney and 53 for Giles. We considered pick 17 not enough for Ryder.
The gall of us. If Port had offered the 2nd round pick on day 1 we would have resolved it fairly quickly, but no, bloody Essendon and their unfair demands for a fair trade. We are so difficult to deal with. never get trades done.
Rove, is that you?Adrian, is that you?
Lol 4 days that wouldn't have happened if Port were reasonable. As soon as they were the deal was done.Know two blokes who have worked in list management and recruiting at different clubs, and its common knowledge amongst those in the league that you want to avoid having to deal with Essendon in trade week, and I don't know why you'd even argue that considering their history.
