The timing of the deal doesnt worry me.

What does worry me is hawthorn waiting in the wings with 2 first round draft picks and their indication they are willing to use them.

If carlisle goes to the saints, i wouldnt put it past the hawks to offer these picks to gws along with next years pick!

They'd need to have the cap room and Treloar to actually want to go there. Plus, what they have to offer is no better than what we're offering.

I wouldn't bet on that. They have Mitchell, Hodge & Burgoryne retiring after 2016. They could quite easily back end their deal for Carlisle.

Carlisle would accept unders to play at Hawthorn.
