I remember watching the 1995 World Cup final between NZ and South Africa on a big screen at my rugby club which had a heap of Kiwis there.

The meltdowns from them when the All Blacks lost would put AFL supporter meltdowns to shame.

Apparently the whole of NZ went into mourning when the All Blacks got knocked out by France in the 1999 World Cup semi final, it was a national disaster.
