does that make sense

Please answer me
Seriously,
Do you guys think 5 for Carlisle and 25 is fair?

For a player of Carlisle's caliber, it's definitely
unders.
clubs like Hawthorn and Geelong
keep getting deals done because they realise that to get quality you have to

Offload quality, either an appropriate draft pick or equivalent player
for example, pick 9, 28 and a player for Dangerfield. If Carlisle was a
free agent your offer might seen as fair, but then, if your Aunty had balls.......

If they get him in PSD they get Carlisle for pick 5 end of story. If they trade with Dons they get an extra draft pick (25 whatever)?

Doesn't make sense that they would want to go to PSD apart from pissing Essendon off.

You are getting the national draft and pre-season drafts mixed up.

Saints fans starting to talk "restraint of trade."

Think that the penny has dropped that PSD isn't going to work.
Its an interesting one. The argument on how much Carlisle earns, sure. But in terms of where he goes and how he gets there Judge Middleton was pretty clear that the AFL are the player's employer and they are bound to whatever crazy clauses they sign off on to become an AFL player.
