Will be a sad day for the Collingwood Football Club when Swan retires. Dead set gun and magpie legend. Hope he makes it and finishes on his terms and doesnt get treated like a few others who approached the end.

As long as his motivation remains I can definitely see him getting to 300.

If we can push into the finals this year - the chance at another flag might be all the motivation he requires to keep going for at least one more beyond that.

I don't get to many games these days but I'll be there if Swan ever reaches 300. Another game I wouldn't allow myself to miss will be Swan's final game. Pretty sure I'll get emotional and end up a sobbing mess. Not looking forward to that day coming.

Swanny doesnt really get injured so baring any sort of freak accident i think he can do it.
I would LOVE to see him get there.

As Derek Hine has already said will be playing alot more on the forward line this year i say no young mid should take his spot.

Swanny to fall in love with playing deep forward and to kick 60 goals in 2016...

And 100+ in 2017... win the brownlow as a forward pocket... kick 8 on grand final day to seal back to back premiership success and be on his way to game 350.

Hine said it at the end of trade week as he was leaving.

P.s... Grundy wins the norm smith with 65 hit outs and 15 tackles.

I think it is more that he is able to play through injury. He is showing no signs of slowing and should make 300 comfortably with another flag under his belt.

Swanny is champion of the game and will go on al long as wants to.

Will have less pressure on him as well with Treloar.

300 pfft...he can play 400 if he wants.
His body will stand up... can get 2 goals a game as half forward, with short spells in the middle.

What? Were Geelong a threat in '06? I could go on. There are about a 1000 valid doubts you could have raised about us being a threat in 2017 btw
