I still read newspapers online but then I read many news sources.

Sometimes I learn interesting facts from newspapers, such as from Richard Earle in today's Sunday Mail that Don "Mr Perfect" Pyke is a blood relative of Albert Einstein. o_O

This one's for you, Christine Lloyd of Erindale!

Eureka. The man could split the atom.

Found this in the letters to the editor section of today's SM (apologies for the poor scanning)

Oh dear Christine, you "grey haired Granny, who doesn't go to AO or a member of an AFL team" yet
mysteriously scours the sport's section and has picked up some mythical bias towards us from
the cro'vertiser. Yeah right, we believe you Granny Christine. Your too clever for us.
Your either a liar or demented. There's no 3rd option. Oops maybe Lynda Loads is your daughter.

She should be having a go at all the betting agencies - they're the ones who are biased towards Port Adelaide Football Club :thumbsu:

What would they know our neighbour's Mr Perfect is related to Einstein.
Next the mantra will be "is Don is good" 'til the season proper starts then we'll find out one way or the other.
Chances are it will be the'other'.

That's funny.

And for an "official partner" to publish that is also just funny.
Imagine if Renault put an ad out dissing Port? Basically the same thing.

I like where that is cut off.

"Dr Frank Pyke carries Einstein DNA. Crows"

Remember when you bought it for the TV Guide.. ahh simpler times

As a kid growing up in the Greater Onkaparinga Prefecture I'd grab the TV Plus of a Sundee morning and count up all the movies showing that week on channels 7/9/10 that were released in the 90's. Then I'd set an over-under and try to guess whether the following week would beat it.

I like to think it was this and not my hitherto undiagnosed dhoarrrtism which was responsible for my Credit in the 1993 Westpac Maths Competition.

Well my 9th grandfather was Ninian Balfour born 1602 Fife Scotland. All Balfour's are related. Does that mean that I can make pies, pasties frogs and cakes etc that Balfour's made in Adelaide.. no way :):D
