Collingwood announce mass re-signings (Sidebottom 2021, Adams & Crisp 2019 & Oxley 2018)

Sidey is obviously the biggest one, but the other 3 aren't to be underestimated either.

Crisp if he keeps improving could be elite, Adams is a key part of that midfield going forward and Oxley could be that link man off half back if he can stay fit.

Sidey is rumoured to be signing for about 550k a year, that's staggeringly unders on what he could have got elsewhere, next captain of Collingwood I reckon, should get a year or two after Pendles gives it up.

Geez, plenty of Oxley haters around here it seems. Like every player on a team's list needs to be (or even CAN be) Pendlebury/Swan-level great.

He's a young and inexperienced player, still finding his feet. He hasn't set the world on fire, but he has shown some really good signs in several matches.
Yeah, let's just f*cking ditch him.

He's really the only player on our list I think is no good, but I suppose you can look at it that way. Guess I'll have to reserve my judgments somewhat as I'll be stuck with him for another 3 years anyway.

The good news for him is that he plays in the position we're weakest/most vulnerable in which means he'll get his opportunities. Can't imagine it was a big contract so not a huge deal in the end I suppose.
