I still remember the look of horror on my mum's face when she heard "I saw Your Mommy". She couldn't see the humour. I finally got around to seeing the band decades later when they came out here 3 years ago and played at Billboard on Russell St. Good gig.

Gigantor said that the song itself can reference family and that it didn't necessarily have to be in the title.

One of my favourite Paul Kelly songs (I have a few!) I can't find a good quality clip of the album recording. Not bad live version below, but the song sounds better with atmospheric organ and the female harmonies on the chorus.

This was my original nom, but then I remembered most people don't care about the words of a song and don't care how well a song fits a theme (except when it was 'musicals' round )
