I'd say hes about 33/1 to play round 1 - Isn't even with the main training group yet so will be a long way behind.Besides - he's too important to risk given his versatility and ability to play as a key forward
33/1?

Is that SportsBet or Ladbrokes?

If purple gets another trade rumor wrong

Then we will not be surprised.

My feelings about purple are probably the same a most but to be fair to the ****er the last few times I've heard him speaking on who goes/stays, he has been either non committal or in the 'stay' camp. So I guess he hasn't been hearing what he wants...

only because the tool went so hard on them leaving with categorically false information he had no option but to change tact and hedge his bets.

Hey guys, excuse my ignorance, but can you let me know how guys like Hooker, Hocking and Colyer have re-signed?

I thought as part of their punishment they weren't allowed at the club or to talk about footy with the club, so how is it they've signed a contract with them?

Or is it because the player manager would discuss with the club and then the player with his manager, and that's allowed?

Apologies I've clearly missed something here and was hoping someone could clarify

you probably answered your own question

Yeah, the article by the Herald Sun says Hurley, Bellchambers and Heppell are all likely to stay. Fantastic day for the club!

Also reading all opposition supporters saying it's good and they didn't really want him anyway makes me laugh.

Sure you didn't rummy.

Great outcome for the Bombers and if Hurley and Heppell are soon to follow than its even better still.

With Hooker I was a little on the fence to if he would stay or go. No doubt there would have been interest from a number of teams but I think he made it pretty clear also he wanted to stay in Victoria.

Looking forward to seeing him run around in the sash again in 2017 fitness and injury pending

Anyone know details of Hooker's overseas training trip? All I could find was an old article

CALE Hooker could be training alongside basketball superstar LeBron James by mid-year, with the banned Essendon defender set for a stint in the US.

The Herald Sun has learned Hooker is in talks with NBA powerhouse Cleveland Cavaliers, NFL club Cincinnati Bengals and MLB’s Cincinnati Reds as he plans for his year in exile.

Hooker, one of 12 Bombers ordered to sit out the AFL season for his involvement in the supplement scandal, responded to his doping ban by contacting a number of American sporting clubs.

Last year’s best-and-fairest winner is keen to gain access to different training habits and facilities to make the most of his enforced time out of the AFL.

American sporting organisations aren’t governed by the WADA code, meaning Hooker would be permitted to train with an NBA, NFL or MLB club.

Hooker sent emails and a video highlights package to a stack of teams. Nothing is finalised, but it’s understood talks have progressed with the three Ohio organisations, particularly the Cavaliers.
