Exactly he was here in Australia for 5 years learning the game in the elite pathways before he got drafted. As a footballer that is a massive advantage

Jack Steele would be an amazing get and would still be gettable at a reasonable price. Although now he is pretty much a regular I think it's unlikely he would be keen to move from a team on the up (and close to home).

Jake Barrett is still the bloke I'd be keen to steal for close to nothing from GWS.

Yeah close to his family would be a big selling point for him. He loves Canberra and being in Sydney. We would have to probably trade a late first rounder for him, they rate him highly internally.

Barrett could do an Anothy Miles. He gets big numbers in the NEAFL but is a long way behind in the midfield pecking order.

He is the ultimate athlete not a footballer. And probably his upbringing has something to do with it but seems to carry a chip of his shoulder.

A lot of players still unsigned, especially from Gold Coast and GWS. Looking through that list we could get a couple of players that would improve our list without breaking the bank or trading away too many draft picks. I would look at Lloyd, Barrett and Gleeson to start with.
