Yeah I didn't like that ending. Time travel/'always meant to happen' is something that happened in the crappy later seasons of Lost. Hope that isn't going to be Bran's thing going forward; finishing preordained loops If the big final battle has something like that in it... ugh, I don't want to think about it.

My initial thought is Littlefinger is bullshitting about the Tully uncle retaking Riverrun. But that seems too obvious for this show.

Oh and **** you Sixpence for your breakfast time leak post that screamed GOOD GUY DIES IN THIS EPISODE!. Removed any surprise as the final minutes ticked down

It's a ruse on the audience and devoids the two characters of agency up until that point (in Hodor's case any agency at all). It might seem Oh so clever now but rewatching the previous episodes will be a diminished experience. This show is all about people making choices that change their lives and the world, but now they've introduced this "It's spacetime fate lol" aspect that runs completely against it.
