JAKE NEADE will remain at Port Adelaide until at least the end of 2018 after signing a two-year contract extension.

The 22-year-old debuted in Round 1, 2013 and has clocked 47 games since. He is scheduled to play his 50th AFL game against North Melbourne in Round 17.

He’s filled the vacant pressure forward role of Angus Monfries this season and has enjoyed solid form for several weeks.

Gawd. Don't our List Managers listen to Big Footy?

Is anyone involved in our list management aware of the existence of one-year performance based contracts?
We've got numerous serial non-performers locked into much longer term contracts. In comparison a two year contract, while not ideal, is not so bad.

Title of the video "Jake need extends"

Extends what?

The hand of friendship?
His 2br bungalow?
4 inches via an ancient sheep herder's daily ritual that really works?

What a bunch of whingers some people are.

He wouldn't be on that much money and he goes out there and tries his best in every game. The extra year is not going to encourage him to give up.

He's improved this year so it's possible he'll improve further next year.

Great news for port and for Neadey!

Yea I have no problem with a 2 year contract extention for Neadey I can't wait until he has 100 games under his belt it's gonna bear fruit this one.
