You completely ignored what I was saying about looking after the females.
If you are going to try and understand or discreet the scriptures, you HAVE to know the context.
Context, context, context. So, what is the context of the OT passage?
I read what you said, only a fundamentalist christian can make such an argument. A slave is someone who is taken against their will. It does not matter if as you say they were integrated into the Hebrew society for protection, the point is those women were taken against their will for the sole purpose of being sexual partners for the Hebrew men.

I can actually assure you not one of these women went willingly. Its like Isis taking yazdi women as captives and sex slaves. Must really be good in your books then hey?

Ok....so which point are you addressing?
Slavery? Well, yes the females were taken as 'slaves' which was actually a good thing because in that cultural context there would have been NOBODY to care for them at all with no male in their life. Slavery was not the abusive practise perpetrated by evil people in the 1700's, but was a cultural norm to ensure people survived, and more often then not the 'slaves' were treated just as well as family members. Not abused.

But you already knew that right? What would I know anyway, I'm only a theologian too.

Lol So it was not abusive you say but why were hebrews allowed to take slaves from reprobate nations in the first place? If the male children weren't worth saving, why were the female children saved? the answer is quite apparent from the texts above. The guys were allowed to take females as sex slaves from the peoples they captured because the men desired beautiful women for their sexual pleasure,

Numbers 31:30-31 & 35 And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of thepersons, of the cattle, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD. And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses…..And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him.

you are reading too much into it, again, to find the narrative that you want regardless of being told you are wrong.

I am not saying it, the theologians are, servants are supposed to serve their earthly masters in reference to gods will, direct quote

Do you have a boss?

There are far bigger underlying issues here that you are not willing to acknowledge.
One of the biggest being the problem of syncretism.

Now i have my own business.

Earthly masters, in this context could be bosses, politicians, police...anyone who has a position of authority

I am correct. Why were male children not worth saving but females were? got nothing to do with 32,000 virigins hey?

Think practically for once.
Male children would have likely become a problem as adults

It's conquering 101

The text specifically says that the 32,000 virgins were to be given to the Hebrew men; fact that the women were given as sex slaves. hebrew men had no other use for a captive "virgin" woman than to be used as a sex partner. Why do you think it says in Duet. 21 that if a man sees a beautiful woman that he desires, or lusts after, he may take her as a wife, and if he tires of her he can get rid of her. The reason a man lusts after a woman is for sexual purposes, so in effect the Biblegod is allowing the Hebrew men to fulfill their lusts by killing people and taking their beautiful virgin daughters.

To say women were taken to be saved, its lol just lol. You seriously believe that?

Great, what an awesome god then, kill male children and have female children (virigins) as sex slaves and you still have the cheek to debate this .Are you even for real?

You really believe that? and if i dont obey my boss, my boss beats me? thats what the verse in Luke is asking the masters to do. Some god.

No it was so there was no mixing of bloodlines from pagan nations. You really need to learn to listen to people who actually know what they are talking about.
Oh and 'get rid of her' is a deliberate obfuscation on your part, when it really says to let her go freely as she pleases. Kind of changes the meaning a bit yeah?

You mean that PARABLE ?

It's pretty plain and simple with no travesty, misquoting or distortion of the biblical text involved. You would do well to take off your blinders and read what the text actually says, instead of trying to defend the atrocious behavior of the Biblegod.

Ok, your wilful ignorance is just getting silly now

No i am right and i produced the evidence for that, the fact that your god killed all male children and distributed all female virigins for sexual pleasure speak volumes and you are still here trying to argue the point

The term "sex slave" is an accurate description of what is stated in the text; I have quoted the Numbers directly. I presented Deut. 21 which states that a man can take from the captives any woman he desires, then in Judges I showed where virgin women were taken against their will for the sole purpose of wives, and in Numbers I showed where only the virgin women were kept alive and given (without their consent) to the Hebrew men...that is what it means to be a sex slave. You are yet to prove otherwise.

Instructions to Servants
Timothy
1All who are under the yoke of slavery should regardtheir masters as fully worthy of honor, so that God’sname and our teaching will not be discredited. 2Those who have believing masters should not show disrespect because they are brothers, but should serve them all the more, since those receiving their good service are beloved believers. Teach and encourage these principles.…

But i know, let me guess, metaphor hey? :D

What advice should have the early church given the slaves..piss in the coffee ?

Any ideas ?

Again, you dont understand what you are talking about. Depends ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES. Please read up on absolute morality and science. I am not saying murder is right.. ffs

Au contrair monfrair....Unlike your wavering moral relativism & mistaking complexity for intelligence....I know precisely what I speak of.

You have zero foundation upon which to stand here.

Such will always be the case when silly scientists attempt to project quantum theory onto the realm of human ethics....Basic category error 101.

You are one wayward & lost soul my young padawan....You have zero clue about ethics, morality & the law.
