Geelong are in for some serious reckoning. A Dangerfield/Selwood combo is a pretty shallow basis for a revival.

Agree, much like the Hawks they rely too heavily on too few. Got laughed at earlier in the season for saying that the Doggies are already a much better team than the Cats and they're 2 sides heading in opposite directions. This weekend validates that.

If we have plenty of cap space, why aren't we going for Tom Mitchell? That will compete the midfield nicely.

Not sure tom Mitchell type is what we need, we aren't to bad at getting the ball we just can't use it!!!

At least we'll find out this week what Wells is going to do after Geelong lost.

Can't actually make any announcements till after the GF I don't think. I think the FA trade period opens on 7 October.

So like a modern day Leon Davis?

Leon Davis's finals record isn't too bad if you look at it in its entirety. GFs seemed his Achilles.

That's also the date for North's B&F. Doubt he'd announce it before then. Probably a chance to finish top 3 along with Tarrant/Ziebell.

Yep. Saw something special in the Dogs in pre-season 2015, thought they looked like Hawks of 2007. Might be totally vindicated this time next week.
