Kinda hoping that his cousin posts on here to clear it up, suspect he won't given people's reaction on here.
Some of the comments have been pretty ordinary. Disappointing.

Premiership club and no one wants to come to us we only getting blokes leaving
Better be some good news coming coz this is embarrassing at the moment
Signing a 29 year old who is out of form and re-signing rubbish depth players
Very very poor so far
Maybe it wasn't but I like to think it isn't true and that we can now turn this into something positive.Last week a rumour was posted that Adams was hated at the club and everyone ripped into that poster calling him all sorts of names. Maybe he wasn't so far off the mark?
Aside from the financial implications, that's why I'm very hesitant to have a go at Adams (or anyone) for asking to trade for family reasons. You're right, those reasons aren't to be taken lightly.Marcus is in his first year. His first year. He cannot be paid more in his second (other than match fees) even if West Coast or Freo want to. This isn't about money, it's about family. The decision to request a trade away from a premiership team where he is best 22 would not have been taken lightly. Let's remember that although this bloody sucks for our football club, we knew his family stuff before we drafted him.
There's nothing requiring him to stay in Melbourne, if we don't receive adequate compensation for him, we can hang onto him and he can sit it out in Perth for a year.

Maybe the bloke who cleans the toilets at WO who gives you all your info can fill you in on why it's so very very poor at your club at the moment?![]()

So many awesome free agents just hanging there, waiting to be picked.
Something's up. If we trade Rat, Stevens, Hammers and Adams and potentially Honey, together with our 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders that's 8 picks. That's way too many and would kill our depth. Something is going on behind the scenes I rekon
Sorry but it's not the reality of football. The reality of football is that you have to be willing to be drafted to any team if you want a career in it.I don't think I saw Adams at the GF or the event afterwards. Makes sense now. I guess the isolation of injury may have helped lead to this. I went to school with him and he was a top bloke. Terrible news for us, but it's his life and he's the one who needs to live it. If he wants that to be in Perth than so be it. This is the reality of football even if it's painful.
Perhaps not let blokes that just won a flag leave and don't re-sign cr@p players and actually have a dip at improving not standing still.

Like Hurley getting a million a year??
Lol yeah great info
How well are we doing the trade period???
At least we kept the potato
What a joke
great deal.......for Freo.so looks as though at least one of Hamling and Adams is going to Freo. Just a thought, probably not worth it but what if we package them up and get a few good picks for them maybe?
