Well he didn't make those goals happen the team did so someone else would have kicked them, so it really doesn't matter from a team perspective if he kicks 62 or if he kicks 30. Now if he kicked 30 and finished 8th he would be doing something else of value. From my count at least 29 of his goals don't really matter to the outcomes of games in 2016, so 29 junk time goals don't really give us much, I'd much rather Jenkins perform better at the contest, perform better in the ruck and be more value to the team rather than kicking joe the goose goals that don't exist in finals, and don't exist under pressure. Then maybe we can have a player than performs when it matters.

I believe we are still in the running for Rockliff, there has been no Intel on how the meeting with the coach went

It will come down to who will pay the money, stride are known to push higher figures on contracts than what the players worth (ask Mackay)

So I thought, oh that's interesting - well done to Levi Casboult or Liam Jones, handy one-year extension.

Nope - it's Matthew Wright. How did I not know that he was their LEADING GOALKICKER? Bloody hell. How is that possible.

Can we win a flag without him? Of course. At the end of 2014 when the WB had finished 14th and Griffen left, who thought they had the midfield to win a flag? No one. Absolutely no one. They haven't added to that midfield at all. They let their young players develop. We had 7 players in the AFLs best 22 under 22. We were very good this year and we'll get better, despite what probably the most negative supporters in the game think. Back your team.

People who are interested in a fairer positioning of players.

No one is saying Jenkins is shit, no one. The people critical of Jenkins merely point out that given his size and agility he could perform better at the contest and in the ruck, which is fair, and that his 62 goals aren't quite as good as the number alone suggests because it does not take into account how those goals were created, which is also fair.

Take your false indignation and stick it up your arse.
