No. I would think that Parfitt would get that number being our first pick.
Does Stewart get Scarlo's #30?
#3 Parfitt
#2 Narkle
#23 House
#17 Abbott

Wouldn't #44 go to Parfitt seeing as though Enright was our most experienced departure in terms of games played.Does Stewart get Scarlo's #30?

#2 Narkle

Geez yeah. I forgot about Billy being traded off.
So Stewart would get #3 and Parfitt will get #2.
Doesn't it go by the jumper with the most decorated former owner, e.g. #3 would go to our first pick, forgot about #44 which will prob go to Stewart, then #2 probably goes to Narkle, etc.
That method might have been thrown out by now, but that's how it was a few years ago.
No. I would think that Parfitt would get that number being our first pick.
Edit: One would think that Stewart will get #3 going on past methods of number distribution.

Usually it's the highest draft pick gets given the number of the retiree with the most games played and then downwards from there (in terms of games played) so that would mean:
44-Parfitt
3-Stewart
19-Ratugolea
23-Narkle
2-House
39-Abbott
and then the rest of the available numbers to the rookies. However I presume Tuohy and Black would have been first crack at choosing their numbers as would Ruggles is he wants a lower number, so not all of the above numbers may be available. Also if Stewart is as close to Scarlett as suggested he may request #30 etc so it depends how the club wants to do it.
Any idea what numbers have been given to 2E and Black?
Although 44 has a certain rhythm and there has been several good players across the league with 44 , Id think we should really remember most consider lower numbers more endearing. Plenty of players get given high numbers then change to lower ones after a period of time. To me Enright was not only a champion ..but he was banner bearer of a player who showed later picks can succeed ... It would fit on the back on Stewart more than Parfit for mine. That or 30.
3 Parfitt
44 Stewart
2 Ratugolea
19 Narkle
30 House
37 Abbott
I think Tuohy will be given #2.Usually but it depends on what numbers Tuohy and Black have chosen as they would get first choice of numbers before the draftees I reckon.

I'm usually all over those,Vardy I thought had no problem in that area, unless I'm miss reading your use of the word Heart Daz.Id like to see Stewart in the #30.
something poetic to that - especially after Vardy had it and didnt do it justice in the heart department.

I hope they give 30 to Stewart.....he's been coached by Scarlo...he's been mentored by Scarlo....I reckon it would be fitting.
The older brigade might have gone with Jimmy...
