It is from a fake news site. It's a mutant outgrowth of opinion based journalism. These sites don't have journos, or newsrooms. They have authours, the site you provided only has one. They have a heap of pop-ups and no info about how they source their stories, or rely on tabloids. They do however, have very prominent social media share icons which enables their very uncritical readership base to easily share these stories and generate lots of ad revenue.

The story you posted was picked up by at 6 of these fake news sites, as well as The Daily Stormer, a neo-nazi webzine.

It's not right vs left, it's information vs disinformation.

The sources you provide are disinformation. One is a tabloid that is not respected as a journalistic outlet. It's sensationalist and rubbish. The rest are personal blogs with fake mastheads that generate ad revenue. I don't what else to tell you. If you rely on this stuff, you will be very angry and misinformed.

Disagree with you there. This is a just a new name for a well known phenomenon that's been about for quite a while. See Flat Earth News by Nick Davies. A huge amount of news is just press release and PR and a substantial amount comes straight off the wire (as most papers then dont require a secondary source).
