I know that but the size and dollars spent says it will be second rate in comparison to Freo's.
Correct salim malik: Our ETF is reported to cost $109M the one for the Toilet Ducks is estinated to cost $65M. They are currently using an expanded colourbond shed for their gym at. Domain. It is without artificial grass out the front of it to lie down on when doing kettle ball exercises like we have at Cockburn. Agh "Such is Life"

So looks like they finally agreed on 1.5m for the old digs which is a bargain.
But looks like part of the deal is the council sponsoring the club.

The City of Fremantle confirmed on Friday it had reached an agreement with the club to take over the lease and redevelop the oval at a cost of $1.5 million, to be paid to the football club in instalments over three years.

Separate to the lease agreement, the City and the Dockers are currently negotiating a long-term sponsorship deal for the Dockers to retain a strong presence in their spiritual home of Fremantle.

This is expected to include AFL Women’s games and member days at Fremantle Oval, a club store in Fremantle and game tickets allocated to the City of Fremantle for distribution to the community.

We’re very pleased the Dockers are committed to retaining and strengthen the links the club has built up with the local Fremantle community over the past two decades

This can't be right, the Fremantle Football Club are a bunch of soul-less campaigners who have taken the Freo council and ratepayers to the cleaners and back again.

I read it in here so it must be correct.

Sounds like a good result given the circumstances. Really hope the club and the Freo council keep a strong relationship going forward, everyone needs to just get behind the club now and support them. Whether you wanted it or not, Cockburn is our new training base, so hopefully it all goes well and the premierships come.

But does it simulate kicking in to the man on the mark, fumbling a mark, trying 3-4 times to pick the ball up off the ground, kicking directly to an opposition player in the corridor, forcing the ball to be kicked up and under inside 50, kicking out on the full when shooting at goal, players tripping over themselves, players spoiling our own players and a multitude of poor umpiring decisions?

State of the art my ****!!!

Aren't four of our rookies on the injury list? Most with leg injuries sustained after the move away from the 'cursed' Fremantle Oval.

That's pretty cool, when the team gets its shit together I can see this helping us greatly.

I am wondering if we can shade the field with different colours. The area where we want D Pearce to kick to is shade in green and it is between 35-50m out from our goals. Area between 0-35m is shaded in red.

Uebergang did his last year, pretty sure Nyhuis and Deluca were prior to the move.

Duman did his last week, so yes that was after the move.
