I really thought it would be strength on Thursday but it was as bad an effort as I have seen from us under Bolton

Strange comment...
Wealthy private school kids can make decent footballers, there was once a bloke called Judd.
He has been too busy selling real estate to know what has being going on in the AFL world.Does Tony Shaw even know that the entire list management team that signed Liam Jones is gone?
The way he talks you'd think nothing had changed in the last 10 years.
I can only "assume" it depends on the individual? I would expect a guy like Weitering would step up and keep fighting. Cripps would be the same, Marchbank & SPS as well.
Why I think most can is SOS has made it clear that he has focussed on "character" when selecting players. No softies or mental weakness. Guys who will work hard and do what it takes. That's why I don't agree with people calling for the to be "protected". When I see and hear people like SOJ Charlie SPS Weitering Polson Williamson Cuningham McKay talk I have no fear that they will handle whatever is thrown at them. They really are an impressive group of kids
Lots of good stuff to see if you watch the game again.![]()
SPS, could have gone pick 1, also by comparison has the highest ceiling of the top 10.SPS has excellent coordination. Has the potential to be terrific in traffic.
I don't know if anyone watched his underage year in under 18's but it was dynamic. His final year looked pretty boring in comparison.
It's so much easier to appreciate and enjoy a great player when they play for your team. That was the case with judd. Hoping sps is as enjoyable to watch.

Cheers for posting that. You're a legend, Wookie.
Just watching our highlights, I understand it is all doom-and-gloom in these parts at the moment, but I'm asking us all to have a think about what BB is doing.
We got 6 goals from our KPFs (SOSOS could have had another), whilst our KPDs kept their KPFs relatively quiet. We have the skeleton of a team. It needs fleshing out, badly...but the foundations are there.
What we're screaming out for is midfield goals. It would be great if MK could chip in with two every week, but we need Murph/Gibbs/Crippa/Ed etc etc to lift in this department.
Usually touhys jobPlenty of positives, but someone please tell me why nobody when NEAR Dusty??
Wanna know why? Because like i tried to effing tell everyone on here AGES AGO he is NOT A MID he is a CHF and if we leave him there he will be a effing good oneAlso the dinky passes which he cannot do. His kicking is frankly a disgrace. Never question his effort though.

Don't bring me downGot one ear working, got the short sight nerdy glasses, don't eat pork anymore........
ELO has suddenly become important.
Patience my friends.......
Carlton will return.
I thought he played well (looks like Des English on steroids) and didn't notice any obvious injury - just assumed he was being carefully managed after so long out of the game. I'm hopeful in 3-4 weeks time he could see himself in the senior side down back. Hoping it might then potentially release Docherty to help around the midfield more. Possible that both Byrne and Sheehan could be down back together late in the season? Just hope Sheehan is free of any more chronic injuries!
Looking at that video his hands are just so quick....too quick for Armfield - that handball hit him and he didn't know it was coming...buckle up he's going to be special
Just an FYI, he hurt a hammie last year and proceeded to rehab it whilst still playing and working at a car wash where he was constantly leaning over etc. Hammie never really went away and he had a really inconsistent carnival/year
Confusion......it's driving me wild.Got one ear working, got the short sight nerdy glasses, don't eat pork anymore........
