I just don't know if Daicos is really senior footy ready.
I'd leave that judgment to avid VFL watchers.

BUT if it is a choice between say Daicos / Crocker / Kirby and they remotely look ready v Blair, I'm going for the guy that might be the future.

His old man didn't think so. Suggested he'd need to string some consistent good footy together before he was ready for the seniors. How many good consecutive games is that now....

I'm surprised you actually see the melts, thought you had everyone on ignore.

You're assuming he can see your post.

EDIT: He responded so clearly he can.

Just seen on sunrise Taylor Adams hurt his hand at training?

Happened during training and they've still named him so hopefully nothing too serious.

I just hate the same things being regurgitated by our football club at the moment that shows no signs of progress.

Of all the players we can select and we choose Jarryd Blair?
Really?
This is our solution?

One player is not going to solve anything.
Over the next few weeks we can expect to see more younger players in the side, and hopefully this will at least give us some hope for the future. As for Blair, he is average at best, but is not deserving of some of the angst directed at him.

Mayne is the travelling emergency... how he's an emergency is beyond
It's about who can afford to potentially miss a game if not required, (Shaz & Broomy need the continuity).
Or maybe it's about who will be least missed if not required.

COLLINGWOOD star Taylor Adams has checked in for the flight to Sydney and seems set to face Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Adams appeared to hurt his hand at training on Thursday, with the midfielder seeking medical attention from doctor Chris Bradshaw and walking off the training track.

However, the Magpies vice-captain was spotted going through the boarding gates at the airport on Friday morning which almost certainly guarantees his availability.

Werribee will certainly be disappointed he's not playing in Wang now...

No not everyone, just Racists, Bigots and the incredibly stupid, although I admit that last category expands almost daily.
Fair enough, I thought the melters would at least be up there.

We have one game plan, and one only.

So the last 8 weeks I've been reading and hearing we have no game plan all of this is wrong
I'm not coming onto big footy anymore

Until tomorrow

The angst is at the coaching staff and selection committee for defaulting back to players they know wont improve anything now or into the future. Like Blair and Mayne.

Hey jmac, Blair as a selection choice is controversial because of what that decision signifies i.e. mediocrity over potential. We are refusing to back the young troops.

Even though it's still early in the season I'm ready to accept more losses knowing at least that we're setting up our future rather than select the same troops that have got us to where we are, and hope that we can scrape together some wins. It's an exercise in futility.

I agree that Blair as an individual deserves no hate; he is chosen to play by our selection panel.

Somehow concluding that Blairs recall is destroying the youth policy is a massive stretch.

He (age 27) was picked on form to replace 23 year old Broomhead who was poor last week and unconvincing in prior weeks. Broomy is now past the potential stage. He cant be carried if hes not performing. He has to return to the seconds and do what Blair did. String some quality games together.

You're a Blairist!
