Interesting, just looked at his numbers and they are so/so, but we all know he has the ability. Havent paid much attention to what or where he is playing this year. I like the POD aspect. All I can see around here are teams that look the same!
what do you see him ave from here?
I'm thinking he'll average 95 for the rest of the season.

Seemed like my team was going good about a month ago but i feel like i've gone no where. Team value pretty low. not much cash in the bank so i had to do.. fisher -> cousins , otten -> Ryan and have the 380k in bank.

One trade left. Can go myers ->sub 590k mid. was thinking rocky or JPK or bont.

Or can go parship to T. lync.

or something else if you have any ideas. Feeeeeling pretty shitty about it right now.

I'm sure there are much worse teams around.

I'd go for a MID to fill that line. I have kept Rocky but wouldn't be trading him in due to injury risk. Bont is well priced but has high BE.

Next week I'd do Taranto -> FWD and Barrett to a cheap DPP to create a link for either Adams or Greenwood.

It's a bit of a shitfight out there for the fwds. I think the the first three are a step ahead of the others and I don't think Nank and Steele will be top six but hopefully will stay top 10.

Have a had a little look and have put players where they look like they may end up. Not much science gone into it, just a mix of Ave, 3 week ave and Std Deviation to give an idea where they are headed.
I have a feeling that maybe only the first 3 may hit 100 ave and am a little worried about Dahl not making it.
Obviously, this is a season long ave, NOT who I think will do well from here on in. I may have missed a player, but can tell you there were a lot of players falling in the 80-85 category. It also hasn't taken into account players injuries and assumes players like JJK and NRoo continue their form after they come back.

95+ ave - Yeo, Dalhaus, Macrae, JJK, Franklin, Greene, N Riewoldt, Dixon
90-95 ave -Wallis, Nank, Steele, Heeney, Cameron,(GC) Lynch, Wingard, D Smith, Ryder, Pederson,
85-90 ave -Higgins, Kobe Stevens, Billings, Daniel, Petracca, Roughead, J Riewoldt,(A) Lynch, Betts, Daniher, Westhoff, I smith,

So to answer your question, for players from here on in I would be looking at Punchable, Wingard, GC Lynch, JJK and Franklin in that order. Value and situation this week is Lynch, Wingard is one that I am seriously looking at after doing this. Personally cant go back to Franklin and hate Greene. JJK out for a couple but should come home strong.

-NRoo too many questions over injury.
-Wallis can only go backwards from here as small sample size and no history of higher ave. Happy to be corrected latter.
-Dixon is bound to blow up at some point but is a risk/ reward pick.
-Heeney is a smokey who could push to next level as fitness picks up.
-Cameron is another esp. if GWS ramp things up towards finals. Nice POD
-D Smith too much risk with injury, but should be higher.
-Ryder worth a look if CD start treating him right.

Not claiming this is an in depth and detailed look. Its just some observations I have made. Happy to be corrected on any factual errors.
Great analysis.
Dixon was born for SC and could outscore the lot. Port will have some easy kills on the way home when teams who can't make finals, put the cue in the rack and play kids.
I've just seen those glass ankles crack too often. But if he stays fit, he'll have games that win leagues for you.

Every flapping year with Sandi.

Who would people get rid of first, Sandi or NRoo?

To be honest it's not that bad that Sandilands is out this week. Most people already have 19+ players and he was always out next week anyway. Hopefully it means he comes back 100% in round 14 and becomes somewhat of a POD.

Am glad you said it and not me. If he stays fit, he could end up number one fwd. Just can not bring myself to the point where I can pick him due to risk, but for someone close enough, a brave selection could really make a diference.

110mm rain and counting in Sydney since Tuesday night. Going to be a mud bath in the centre wicket area. Hope nobody was expecting a high quality game tonight.

Parker mite finally score well!

He is 34 and over 2m and you paid 308k for him. What did you really expect?
He has done his job. If you didnt plan for this then its your fault.
If you dont have cover, Kreuzer is the best option in ruck, bit if you have Ryder or Nank fwd move them into the ruck until Gawn is back and cheap and pick up a fwd in the meantime.
Hold Nroo.He should be back next week.

I am 1500. What do you reckon, I have gone for Mitch Wallis but Dixon would be much riskier. I had him a few years ago nad he was no good.

Chopped and changed trade plans, due to impact on Rnd13 .....but finally decided to look at the bigger picture, rather than one week :'(

Stewart to Scharenberg
Myers to Cousins
SPP to Rocky
......that completes my Mids

However, in a moment of stupidity, i'm considering for next week (which will complete my defense)

Fyfe to S.Selwood (projected for another $50K increase & averaging same as Fyfe)
Scharenberg to Lloyd ........yes you've read correctly, a one week rookie

Drastic times call for drastic decisions

Wallis a safer bet for sure. Dixon is 120K too expensive for the risk. I'd hate to face teams with him though

Here's my situation.

1 Defender and 2 Mids to upgrade - holding Sandi at this stage.

As far as BE's go, Marchbank (84) is the only one who won't hit it
As far as rookies go, Cousins is the one I'm most interested in.

Anyone able to offer some advice?

Fisher or Myers to Cousins. Could also trade out Sandilands to a ruck you like

Marchbank to Shaz or Ryan.
Myers to Cuz.
Leaves you with 350K + to upgrade (Stewart in DEF to D6 premo) Berry as D7
Or in mids Barrett to Wines etc

Thanks

Been mucking around, and can do:

Parsons>Cousins
Marchbank>Ryan
Barrett>Rockliff

Strengthens my mids, leaves Tom Stewart as D6 and Myers as M8

Not 100% sold on Rocky due to injury, but could basically get any other mid I want

Help needed

Option 1:
Stewart/Barrett -> Docherty
SPP -> Hibberd/Roberton (?)
Fisher -> Cousins
Option 2:
Newman -> Docherty
Stewart/Barrett -> Hibberd/Roberton (?)
SPP -> Lynch

So a few questions then,

Option 1 or Option 2?
Get rid of Stewart or Barrett first?
Hibberd or Roberton?

Lloyd will be better for cheaper if you can wait.

Thanks for the advice mate.

Yeah I am pretty set on bringing in Lloyd in round 14 as he will probably be around 420-430K and Berry and Stewart both have a little more money to make.

Will just trade Eddy > Cousins (via DPP) this week for a little more cash.

Thanks again.

Trade out Stewart of the two. Barrett has had his bye so is an extra player this week and is predicted to rise by more and will fully moo earlier due to the extra game this week.
I slightly prefer Option 1...you bring in Cousins the only rookie that looks likely at the moment and keep Newman who is averaging 90 anyway (and can be straight swapped to LLoyd soon). Not convinced on Lynch. Either way a close call though.
Hibberd v Roberton is 50/50. Roberton averaging a bit more and has maintained that average over more games but is also 60K more expensive. If you have plenty of cash generation opportunities coming, pick Roberton. If not, go Hibberd.

My side:

B: Docherty, Adams, Laird, Rance, Shaw, Newman (Stewart, Scharenberg)
M: Dangerfield, Mitchell, Pendles, Selwood, JPK, Hanners, Beams, Fyfe (Myers, Fisher, Bolton)
R; Martin, Goldy (Strandica)
F: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Nank, Turner, Greenwood, Parsons (Florent, Black)
Bank: 27K, 11 trades

Obviously it is time to upgrade the forwards. With Florent dropped have 18 this week and 17 next

Option 1
Florent/Black to Cousins
Turner to Wallis/Lynch (max 480K to spend) - not convinced on either as both averaged about 90 last year
Option 2
Florent/Black to Cousins
No trade and wait to turn Turner to proper premium like Yeo (would require a non r13 bye rookie to become available for downgrades)
