We beat the Swans I'll genuinely believe we can challenge this year.

We beat the Swans and I'm calling the club on the Monday for the GF Guarantee.

Think people are overrating the Swans a bit. Their 6-1 run has included wins over Brisbane, St Kilda, North, Richmond with about one decent quarter of football, the terribly out of form Dogs at the SCG, and Essendon by a point. They're going to be tough beat for sure and they've shown they can stand up in close games but they've only beat a bunch of middle of the road sides this year. It's not like if we win we'll have beaten a side that's toppled Adelaide/Geelong/GWS

What concerns me isn't the swans but the 6 day turn around from Perth with a few sore bodies

Yup. We aren't playing the ladder leaders but Sydney are a very difficult side to beat and we'll be going in with a pretty tired lineup I'd imagine. I'm happy for them to prove me wrong and run over the top of yet another opponent who should be fresher but it is more likely to be the former.

We need to keep up the manic footy, Essendon did well against the Swans when they were ballsy enough to hit up the corridor. I honestly think we can match them on the inside and beat them on the outside.

Roosy's heart still beats true:

"Now I’m very attached to Melbourne. The lack of success is part of it and I’m sympathetic to their plight. It’s exciting for Melbourne, they’ve been kicked for so long. I’m happy for Jack Watts and Nathan Jones and Max Gawn. I’m going for the Demons.”

When did he say that?

I've Said it a million times. We are his new Fitzroy. It's why he took the job and why he will always be a demon now

Actually, the story this week for Melbourne will be all about the "dive".
On SEN right now, with Gary leading the charge that it was a dive. FFS, you can't bloody know! There was contact there, that is beyond doubt. Anything else is bloody speculation.

It's frustrating to me since there has been more commotion about this than any 'staging' incident I've seen. Even the Rance one was laughed off by most, there actually seems to be anger over this one.

Crouch was seen to exaggerate the jumper punch that got Hawkins suspended. No one gave a shit when Petrie flopped over on the weekend to get himself a shot at goal, Nick Dal Santo said last week that every player in the league exaggerated for free kicks. Only two things are absolutely clear as far as I'm concerned. Schofield made contact with Oliver's jaw, and Oliver fell over. The rest is speculation and I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

It's because we won and Oliver and the Dees are a threat. If we were Brisbane and had lost by 60 no one would care

Lol its because when Rance did it he got a free kick, when Oliver did it it was completely pointless. Both were just as shit but at least Rance got the ball for his team

Make sure you all get there Friday night!
Win lose or draw - we are not Norf or Aints fans who stay away because it's a bit nippy outside.
Get there and lets beat these pricks with 5 or 6 of our best 10 out!!

Will be scenes when Oliver has 40 touches on Friday and celebrates a goal with a Jurgen Klinsmann style dive of mockery.
