Giants proving that form slumps aren't all doom-and-gloom.

Just depends when they find a team and whether they can hold them off long enough leading into finals.

Like the last 4 rounds of 2015, we were a top 4 team but with no invitation for finals.

Should give us a glimmer of hope for the rest of 2017 at least.

So you

Unreasonable or unnecessary contact to the face? Absolutely.
Cant jump and protect your body with your legs anymore.????

If a player runs at me and as I take the ball I extend a fend off elbow and it collects the guy in the face, would i be suspended?

The answer is no, it's a too high free and move on.

If he gets suspended it will be a poor decision.

Rubbish. Raise the knee, sure, but no need to put the boot up like that. The MRP matrix will see him cop a fine, which I think is fair punishment for a careless crime.

It dosent matter when you can bring in 3 fresh guns a week.

GWS have been supremely impressive tonight. As Tribey said earlier they stayed composed in defence under a ton of pressure, they responded on clean crisp counter attacking, they wrestled back the momentum and put away an 'up and about' Dogs outfit in no time whatsoever.

Dogs looked great in the 2nd, but hopefully this GWS run might be breaking a little of their confidence and they come out shaky next week.

So if he raised his knee and he ran into it and got koed that would be fine.

But what about duty of care.

How abot its a football incident and the bloke got a ****ing cut on his lip.

The Greene contact to Dalhaus is a bit undefinable for me.

You usually raise the leg like that as a block to put space between you and your opponent in a marking contest.

I see Sam Gray doing it in a marking contest every so often, but on this occasion Greene overreached and made contact to the face.

The fact that Greene did it means motivation is called into question.

I don't like what Greene did but I'm not worked up over it. I've seen worse without even having to find another player.

We should've done something like that last week to Betts's guts.
