Just got back from the cop shop.

Bloke handed himself in this morning. Was heavy on the piss, and found himself having an argument all night with a bloke in an #18 Guernsey. Just like me. So once he had enough liquid "courage" he just ran up and clocked me, thinking I was another bloke. Guy is from Mt Gambier, visiting family.

At least he had the decency to own up to it and I'm done with it all now. Not gonna press charges. He got caught up in the moment and took it way too far, but he acknowledges it.

He is very lucky that you aren't pressing charges.

The concerning thing for me is that he would do something like that drunk or not. Coward act and plenty of people have been seriously injured or worse from those types of actions.

You're a good man, but on principle I'd have pressed charges just for the fact that he king hit!

Whether you were intended target or not, its a weak campaigners act that could've ended much worse.

Sorry guys don't mean to derail thread. Got king hit at southern cross station after the game by a crows fan who screamed "******* drug cheat". No one came to help me and there were no PSOs or cops around. If anyone knows anything or saw the bloke then please let me know, I'm being taken to the hospital now to get checked out for concussion. Was just near platform 10

We need to find two midfielders and a half back.

The only difference last night was their run and spread on the turnover. We got caught out time and again.

Green and Laverde too slow. Watson and Myers and Heppell too slow. Luenberger useless. Colyer too small.

They would just win the footy and run hard and either get a free guy for easy transition or hit up a leading mark with a mismatch.

Meanwhile we were sitting it on Goddard's head or turning it over trying dinky kicks through the zone.

Hooker was the only guy on our side winning one on one marking contests up the line.

We really missed Zerrett and Raz for their ability to get free and get back, but two guys isn't enough depth.

We need Mutch and Langford to come on, and need someone to play the half back defensive mid role that Kelly has been filling.

And we need another fast forward, because Walla and Raz can't always be there.

Way too few contributors last night. Colyer, Walla, Howlett, Green, Watson, Myers and Parish were all poor to average. Did well considering that.

One play that typified Essendon was when Hooker was running in for goal and he had to point and tell Colyer to shepherd and block for him instead of standing around for a cheap handball. Shouldn't have to do that.

High contact, intentional and low impact with the medical report coming back all clear.

He has taken the early guilty plea and 2 weeks down from 3.

That was the one HTB call that I thought was correct. Before the handball, the ball spilled to the ground.

The Howlett tackle was the worst one. Like, I'm surprised it's not the big issue of the weekend. It is literally game changing if you can't tackle like that anymore.
