That's what Zaka has been in the back half of this year :)

Yep and he will get a 5 year $1,000,000 deal as well :)

Credit where it is due, he was bloody good last night. Game would have been a lot tighter if he was not in the side.

Has been offered 1 yr Brisbane has offered 3 yrs

Not true. Think you will find Essendons current offer is 2 years. However contract length is not the issue. The issue is both parties getting to the dollar value that suits.

Anyone still want to trade him?

For a good deal yes but would have to be good.
For example Round 1 pick and Zaka to GWS for Kelly (not that I am saying this would happen).

Anyone still want to trade him?

Like ant, yep I'd trade him for the right deal. I'll change my mind if he stands up to tough pressure in a final.

Loved his game last night.

Would be vying for the Chricton at years end such has his form been the last twelve weeks.

The game on the weekend is one of his most complete in his career. An astonishng turnaround for a player on the cusp of being dropped earlier in the year.

His value is only increasing with every good game he plays, would have no hesitation giving him the contract he is after such is his importance to our structure and his current output.

Would love to see him give the All Australian squad of 40 a nudge but the guys in his position (outside goal kicker) have been pretty bloody awesome (see Chad Wingard, Robbie Gray etc).

Still, should he be an outside chance for the 40, would cap a remarkable year for one of our most crucial players.

Not surprised he is back in top form. By his own admission he took a while to settle after the forced changes last year and then re-adapting his game when the players returned. Now he's settled into a pattern he's flying. Some players take longer to adjust to changes than others. Essendon would be mad to use him as trade bait. His football is outstanding and he is a Bomber through and through.

Apparently knocked on John's door and since we were playing him as an outside winger, he thought his best role was inside. John said they would trial it and he hasn't looked back.

That is from Matthew Lloyd on the AFL website.

Offering a 27 year old a 2 year deal?? Doesn't make sense
