Madga barely made it through her childhood by comfort eating.
Eating disorders are often related to psychological factors, so it's entirely possible that is what happened with Magda.

Ever since people inhabited earth they've been getting married to the exclusion of all others?

I hate to break it to the the christians but they need to read their bible to see even their book calls bullshit on that.
This is getting tiresome.

I have already shown evidence of polls that show two thirds of Catholics support gay marriage.

The constructive, relevant facts were posted ages ago. You haven't been able to provide one compelling argument against same sex marriage. You have tied yourself in knots trying to disguise the fact you are a stock standard bigot. Mockery is all your posts warrant at this point.
Yeah.
Your right, of course you're right.
(Am I doing this correctly?)

Is that what turned you into a wannabe troll?

Congrats, I guess.
The thread uses the word "Debate".
Obviously debating is a skill that you don't possess, but call me a troll if immature name calling is the best you've got....

To be honest, you sound like you're a real chance of becoming a men's rights activist in the foreseeable future.

I have missed the boat on this one and I'm not about to read the 400 odd pages to catch up on the whole story.

I'm just hoping for some answers or a link that will explain the issue.

What difference does it make if same sex marriage is made legal?

Is it as simple as now I can say I'm married or is there legal and privacy rights that would be effected as well.

That was not my question

How would a national conversation on you being a fat wog made you feel?

It's not a difficult question to answer.

Would you have felt good or not?
I didn't blame the world, or look for sympathy, so your point is mute....

Well basically, if you vote YES, then you are right, and no one can question you.
If you vote NO, then you are a homophobic bigot....
That about sums it up.

This is my problem I don't know if I am right or a homophobic bigot because I would like to understand the issue before I make up my mind.

Are you a man of faith? I can understand their opposition, I don't agree with it, but it's called faith for a reason. The secular opposition I can't really understand because I've never really seen a coherent argument put forward.

I'm shocked you're evading the question.

My point is not mute. It's not even moot.

young homosexuals are not looking for sympathy nor blaming the world.

Seeing you won't answer the question, I'll answer it for you: it would not be a positive experience. It would further alienate and bring mental stress.

Now, I could ask why you think it's appropriate to further alienate young people, but I won't bother.
Waste of time.

And to think I was going to push the ignore button on you.
Your posts are so lame, that you actually make myself and others sound smart, even the ones I don't agree with....
Just using your logic. Something didn't happen unless you prove it. I want proof that they called you a fat wog.

Well if you're straight .. get ready for it...it's quite serious...some straight people even think it's the BIGGEST issue of their life..
the difference is,

Nothing.

If you're gay, you can get married.
Yay.

That may be so.
No figures however have been supplied to the youth that are the subject to other issues.
They are going to be much lower than 6x the average.
There have been studies that show that in places where SSM is legal the suicide rate of teens has dropped. This vote has the opportunity to bring some good and hope to those who are most at risk.

https://www.beyondblue.org.au/docs/...lth-and-suicide-2013-2nd-edition.pdf?sfvrsn=2
Same sex youth are 6 times more likely to attempt suicide compared to heterosexual peers.
Same sex Australians are overall 14 times more likely to attempt suicide than hetereosexual peers.
Thanks
