Ruckman are not as important as they once were. Just need someone serviceable in there.

Stringer was AA at 21. Is only 23. Former pick 5. I think he's got more upside than Goldy at 28

End of the day a player doesn't have to go anywhere he doesn't want to. If it is true (we'll see) that the Dogs want to shift him then offer him overs and get them to settle. Might as well use some of this warchest.

Eh, I wouldn't like it but this trade wouldn't be based off 2017. Stringer is still very young and has elite capabilities. Goldy, as good as he was, doesn't look like getting back there.

The Dogs wouldn't accept just Goldy on his own. Maybe a future second can be thrown in.

At least four of those should be rotating through the midfield next season. I'd see this as the Waite replacement.

And if it's for Goldstein as is oft rumoured I'd rather gamble on Stringer re-finding his mojo with us than Goldy. The upside is bigger and for longer.

Worst case, Waite gets a year but this one interests me. Only 23. I don't think he's done.
