1. Saints have offered pick 8 for Patton from GWS. To be discussed between the clubs. Likely require pick 30-40 back

2. North will get Balic (sadly I rate him)

3. GWS interested in Ports Trengove as a free agent but need cap relief.

4. 4 clubs have asked about Liam Jones and we said get lost

5. Essendon believe they can get a flag in the next two years with 3 quality mids. Finding them is the issue

6. Stringer to the Bombers if they don’t get Kelly will be done day 1

That "rumour" from Betty Blue is absolute horseshit (my opinion of course).

There is no way we're going to forsake the draft this year to that extent.

There is VERY little chance we'll be offering $1M/y for Rockliff for the next 2 years. (He'll be 28 at the start of next season)

The main trade is totally unrealistic. Lions trading #1+#18+Schache for #3+#10+#36? Mate Schache is contracted and if we're chasing him then we will need to pay a premium not expect to get him for a "discount".

Also, tell me who were the 4 clubs chasing Jones? And why would we tell them to get lost? What did they offer?

I'd be in complete shock if our trade period eventuated that way. The outcome involves the plans of 6 clubs! Not buying it.

Lions give up 1 but get 2 so is effectively 18 plus Schache for 3, 10/12 and 38

Or if Rockcliff got them band two really 18, 19 and Schache for 3, 10 and 38

Yes. For a start I hate the popular vote for captain and we have made some crap leadership group decisions through the same process. Then Doc and Cripps are the standout candidates.

Yeah Bolts has made a big point about having a "process" for captain. I think it is absolutely time for Murph to pass the baton, but they will follow the process and have everybody's input for the decision.

Geez you've got rumours on half the teams in the comp...you must be seriously connected or putting in a pretty big effort to make made up things sound real.

You don't normally see posters know so much about multiple teams...usually it's condensed to only a few tops or even just one like barrass with Carlton related rumours.
