Absolutely. This is plan A. As people have pointed out the number of moving parts is onerous.

What are plans B, C and D? Haven’t been told - but for a comment that doing the opposite and attacking the draft may be an option. The concern there is too many kids

Our midfield doesn't have many kids to protect. Murphy, Ed, Cripps, Kreuzer, Gibbs(if he stays) are all strong bodied and apart from Cripps, mostly older players.

If anything, he'd be a bad influence to them.

He is a genuine extractor. Obviously not up to the Rockliff standard but an honest mid with plenty of grunt. It's probably too late for him though.
