Pretty sure spud jacobs was being offered for exactly the same pick and we refused and he delisted himself or something like that. With our recruiting staff we will most likely ask for more than 32 for impey since for some odd reaosn people rate him highly

That situation was quite different because we were never going to use the pick being offered as we had 4 or 5 earlier ones already. Pick 32 would certainly be used this year. It could even be our highest if we send 29 to Melb for Watts.

Really? He's almost at 100 games, can't crack 1 goal a game as a permanent forward. Jake Neade is better than Impey except he doesn't get anywhere near the same free ride.

From what I've read Hawthorn will play Impey in defence if a trade's done. That's where he plays his best football. Ken tried to turn him into a forward and it just didn't work. But I can't see a spot for Impey in our defence, and I can't see Ken persisting with Impey in our forward line especially with the players we're bringing in.

So I'm ok with a trade being done now, as his trade value will be diminished next year if he plays most of the year for the Magpies.
