One of Fogarty, Constable or Brayshaw should be around the mark at 10.
Just need Charlie to take SOS's preference "for a late night drive" down Geelong way......

Gibbs will go tomorrow, no doubt about it. There's some back-and-forth about swapping of other future picks, but it'll get done and we'll win the trade.
Kennedy is already done. Very much expect to see another player come with him (his name hasn't really been linked to us in the media or on here). 2nd player centres around which other picks we can get from other trades so as to not over-pay.

Apparently the misunderstanding was due to the AFL not allowing Reid to sign the contract in crayon.
Deal will be official tomorrow pending reid passes his pen licence test over night.
Interesting rumour that we will get Lobbe and a pick (maybe 34) from PA for taking over his contract
SOS getting into the draft anyway he can. Brilliant
Tomlinson
Wilson
Perryman
Settersfield
Kelly
Patton
Scully
Whitfield
Shiel
Hopper
Shaw
Griffen
Finlayson?
What a circus this has become, we need the 2018 2nd included! Maybe just go with Gibbs and our 2018 4th for P10 and their 2018 2nd.
Could this be used for M.Kennedy?Interesting rumour that we will get Lobbe and a pick (maybe 34) from PA for taking over his contract

No, SOS supposedly wanted their future 2nd as well to even it out a bit.
Reid thought the same as you apparently.

Cummins as well.
Yeah it is. SOS is taking up Lobbe's contract and an early pick in exchange for a very late pick. That's the salary dump and ruck insurance he has planned for 2018 and beyond. That was a guess from a post on here, not a rumour. It's not even a viable trade...

Don't worry about viable, it's the AFL we are talking about, no other sporting organization in Australia like them. That was a guess from a post on here, not a rumour. It's not even a viable trade...
I stand corrected... that's what I get for not reading that article in full.

As Niall said, it would be unprecedented, and I believe it would be seen as in contravention of AFL rules.
Do tell sir.Ten Adelaide intimating Reid telling porkies.
Personally I wouldn't stand for it. This is meant to be an equalisation system, not a collegiate draft. If the AFL is moving to a more Americanised system, surely this is an inevitability?
Perhaps doubtful this year, though.
