We certainly hope Starc does but so far in his career, he's not annihilated many teams. Sri Lanka and West Indies are about the only two he's torn a new one. He's due though, he's now got a lot of experience at this level.

Adelaide will be paradise for the poms with a duke ball under lights. Melbourne can be a lottery. Sydney who knows what the weather will be like. Perth a draw most likely. Brisbane the only one I think that is nearly a Garuntee win
Only place England will be using a Duke ball would be in the warm-ups..

Top Australia bowler: Starc - would be Hazlewood but he’s slightly underdone

*Almost put Cummins here as I believe he won’t play in Adelaide. Not really getting dropped when the selectors have already planned your return though (he’ll be back in Perth). England may pick a bowler more suited to swinging (day night test) conditions in Adelaide as well.

They won't dropped Paine unless he gets injured. Marsh will be first out the door.

I actually think Bancroft could be thrown out pretty quickly if things don’t go right. He averaged 28 last summer and as good as he’s been this summer he’s only played three good innings with the whites on to prove himself worthy and was no where near the test team a few weeks ago for a reason. Form is temporary - class in permanent and I’m not sure he has enough class to last in the test side. Facing Anderson and Broad with the new ball will be tough compared to coming in at six anywhere between 30 and 100+ overs into an innings outside of perhaps late in the day under lights in Adelaide.
