Through the Fire and flames is easier to play on a real guitar than it is to play on Guitar Hero (that's not to say it's easy to play either)

I noticed that with a few songs; the GH finger patterns were vastly different to how the song was actually played. So if you knew how to play the real song it was jarring to play in GH. Bulls on Parade was particularly annoying for me.

I've heard that if you play guitar, you tend to suck at Guitar Hero. I don't play guitar. Therefore I am quite good at Guitar Hero. Although I can only do Easy. HAHA!
Now I feel like playing it!

I will say that whilst I wouldn't listen to half the bands from Guitar Hero (Legends of Rock is the one I have), it's made me appreciate some of their songs, including Through the Fire and Flames.

One of the songs 'In Love' by Scouts of St Sebastian sounds better on Guitar Hero than it does on the original (because they boosted the guitar for the game).
