Federer has had the gods on his side since the start of last year, quite amazing how the seas have parted for him during this renaissance. Hasnt faced murray or djokovic, faced a less than 100% cilic at wimbledon, seeds falling over all around him this year now as well. He is good enough to take advantage of all that but you cant say he hasnt been fortunate.
He had to beat Nadal in the last AO final, that's tougher than Murray and Nole

Endless list of tickets available for Thursday night now with Nadal out.

This surface will suit him better i think as well, he is certainly the most capable player left to take out besides federer.

I wouldn't be surprised if Berdych causes an upset tomorrow. I've watched a few of his matches this year, he is playing some great tennis and looks composed

With the wheelchair rounds kicking into gear tomorrow..... I wonder if 7 will play a certain ANZ commercial 4 more times per commercial break ?
$7 for a sandwich though?

What a load of shit. Gods on his side? Nothing about his AO run was luck or fortune. Beating quality opponents (Nishikori and Stan in 5) also beat Berdych on the way to the final against Nadal in which he came back from a break down in the last set to win, hitting outright backhand winners. Neither were his IW/Miami title wins fortunate.. (if you even watch tennis After January) The form he was in last year he’d be fine against Djoker and Murray.

You only play who you are up against. He won Wimbledon without dropping a single set coz he’s just too good.

Are you going to now say Nadal was lucky because he won US open without beating a top 25 player? In fact he faces his first top 25 ranked player in 15 grand slam matches (including US OPEN) tonight and he ends up losing.
