Yes they did. I have no issue with the contest itself, one from each side, but they are still asking for nominated rucks so should have been a free to the Blues.

It's amazing how a premiership can hit the reset button on the public image of a footballer.

This is legit the biggest thing stopping us from winning the flag.

That and the "protected area" rule. What's the betting it will be enforced strictly on us but only the more blatant ones paid to us? It's a ridiculous rule and the use of it is even more stupid. Carlton got two they kicked goals from. One of them the player concerned was possibly 9 metres away from the bloke with the ball. Neither of them the player they were paid against was in any way interfering with play. Sometimes it's like a free that's given just for show, like when you go to the toilet and only fart but you wash your hands anyway so you don't appear a slob.

In other news, I reckon Tom Lynch being out for tomorrow's match will worry the cows more than the loss of Taylor Walker or Brad Crouch.
