From an outsider point of view their fans seem to expect this is part and parcel of the trade and their right to behave like dickheads.

Coupled with the clubs flagrant and constant disregard for the salary cap. Manly the latest to be caught.

I think you mean "including when", not "unless".
No. I don't.

My brother and I used to carry on like this when we were kids, except it went something like:

"You think Ritchie Blackmore wipes the floor with Tony Iommi", or

"You think Noel Pettingill's a ****"

It was more a search for confirmation I think, rather than telling the other what they should think, or that what they do think is stupid.

Except we were too young and stupid to know what we should think.

Gee say what you want about the AFL and how it's run, how the clubs act and how the players behave, but **** me, I'm glad it isn't the NRL. They limp from one disgrace to another.
They don’t have the same choke hold over the press and are not a big part of ‘the establishment’ unlike the AFL in Victoria, SA and WA.

Yep. The Aussies are cheats

But the outrage is disproportionately high

The punishment for ball tampering is 1 match suspension, which in footy terms is equivalent to an errant hip 'n shoulder.

Remember when the GOAT bowler and the Skipper's twin brother were paid by a bookie for info?

Or when GOAT again took a banned substance?

Far worse

Smith et al has joined the likes of Tendulkar, Atherton, Afridi

But he's no Hanse

Nah it's worse it was planned cheating not reporting pitch n' weather conditions or Warnie taking a fat prick drug

I agree the conspiracy makes it worse than say rubbing a mint on it

Suspend all involved, sack the captain and vice agreed

But talk about life bans lolcarn

Lets say hypothetically, petrol is $1 a litre, $20 gets you 20L, likewise $2 gets you 10L so why is that when petrol is $1,49.9 i got 13.98L :drunk:

I'm not 100% on this, but I think it has something to do with maths.

Look at your receipt and do the maths. The information missing from your post is the total amount you paid. And $2 won't get you 10L in your example - it gets you 2L.

He's buying $20 worth in each example. At 149.9c/litre, 13.98 litres for $20 sounds about right (13.34222 litres to be precise :p )

They also charge for the fuel that is stored between the meter and the hose, which is about half a litre...which you get at the start of the delivery for 'free'.

He spent $20 in both examples. He means at $1 per litre he gets 20L and at $2 per litre he gets 10L.

His question is, at what amounts to halfway between $1 and $2, why does he get less than halfway between 10L and 20L.
