I have been to every single Carlton game, bar the Port game at Etihad in 2008 because I had to go to Bali for a wedding, in Victoria since 1988. Yes!!!! 30 bloody years!! I would love to hear from anybody who has been as committed as me because I am nearly this close to being done with our footy club!!! Thoughts please!!!

Don't drop off now, you're about to see more success than the last 30 years combined. Just give them 2 more years.

Not taking anything away from you. We have many supporters around Australia like you but no offense, it’s different when you actually go and watch pretty much every week.

i watched %90 of the game on tv last night. my partner wanted to change channels, but i stuck with the lads.

So did I. All it resulted in was more of my bottle of Gentleman Jack going down the hatch.

I don't know. It's no picnic when you splash out your hard earned out of love and don't get anything for it but a cap every year. People buy memberships to be entertained at games. They'll get the occasional live lift, GWS and Sydney wins last year .... breaking the Hawks hoodoo in round 22. Those glimpses are life sustaining. Plenty of people keep signing up and don't get to experience that.

Plenty of people? Really? We are one of the most successful clubs in the history of the game and we can barely scrape together 50,000 members. We are irrelevant

I pay for 7 memberships every year. Somehow I think I’m not getting my money’s worth

Just saying everyone has their cross to bear. Not sure we're going to be able to pin down which one supporter feels the most pain or has been the most wronged.

Fronted up every week in Melbourne and usually one or two interstate games a year until I moved overseas. Not sure how I put myself through it. Moving 7,000 km away was the only way to free myself I think. And despite how shithouse we are, every week just before the ball is bounced I sit there watching it on my laptop in Cambodia thinking to myself “**** I wish I was there”. That said, such thoughts are usually gone by quarter time.

You’re missing the point hence you didn’t reply to the post before the above
