I heard David Parkin ( who was providing the special comments on the ABC Radio at last nights nights game ) - in the half time break - ( because at that point they had just announced that Selwood was cleared ) he mentioned that during the day he had watched the Selwood incident several times - and he said -he couldnt see anything in it - thus couldnt understand why he was suspended in the 1st place - and thus common sense had prevailed in the appeal being upheld

I guess his head would be inflated, but it was only Christian and Hocking that agreed with him, the other 99.9% of the AFL community though the call was silly.

What the media highlight and don't highlight has a big impact on the match review outcomes. That was clearly an insufficient force contact that was blown out of proportion by the media coverage.
