Haha...ive only dreamt that we one the GF twice and that was at the beginning of 97 and 98 (not kidding, just wish I had put $ on it back then)...so you never know!

Back at the start of 2012 I had a dream that GWS beat Port. I told my Port-supporting colleague about it the following day and we had a good laugh about it. She wasn't laughing a few months later when it actually happened :P

would never happen.

Players association would definitely argue its restraint of trade as suddenly it'd limit their external earning power, and how do you know/draw the line at what is because of the club connection and what is because of the players own profile. Then it gets messy when you say x player (lets call him Dangerfield) has a bigger profile and external earning potential because he is playing for a victorian club than he did/would at another club (lets call them Adelaide).

If it were to happen then it'd have to be like footy department spend where there is a soft cap, but then the problem is clubs are penalised for bringing in high profile players so just won't happen.

If there was more money in interstate markets than Vic then the AFL would put a lot of resources into working out a solution
Isn't that what we got pinged for with Tippet?
Balfours payments undeclared.

Translation reads to me if we can find Belinda work he'll stick around.

Translation reads to me that Kris Massie is a massive stoner.

Had the most vivid dream last night;

That last quarter spurred a second half of the season 'us against the world' revival, Crows go 9-0 into finals, where they end up playing in a GF rematch, Sloane has a kick after the siren to win the GF, wins the Norm Smith Medal. And while on the podium thanking everyone he calls his manager up to hand him the contract which he signs and then screams 'CROW FOR LIFE BABY!!!!!'

It was a very good dream!

Hi, Kris ;)

Ive had this happen 3 times, the GF twice and the first 3 horses is the Melb cup when I was 20...of course I was a dickhead and ignored it...keep waiting to dream about the upcoming lotto numbers...one day lol

I’ve had it twice.
Nobody believes you until it happens to them

Yet neither of you can compare to a broken clock.

I think our most serious breach was...
it was having it written in Tiprat's contract that we would trade him to another Club for a second draft, which is unders - and unfair to all other Clubs. [ref.]

He was guaranteed income outside of his contract. This involved the club providing contacts to his manager for media appearances, advertising etc. This is a legitimate source of income.

The problem was that Tippett often couldn't be bothered getting off of his arse and attending or following up on these leads. As a result his manager went back to the club and demanded the shortfall in this promised income. The club paid the extra money which is where the payment breaches were made, although the club in fact didn't exceed the TPP.

There was a really good article in The Age explaining a lot of this a few years back. Might be this 1.

I dreamt that Adelaide would beat Melbourne by 74pts in Neil Craig’s first game as coach.

As far as I know, those “facts” are incorrect. Balfours had been sponsoring the showdowns and didn’t feel they were getting bang for their buck. THEY approached the club and said they’d like to pull some of that money from the club and put it towards sponsoring a player for advertising. We didn’t set it up, but because we had been a part of the conversation, we got pinged for it. Bear in mind, the conversation was a legitimate club/sponsor lunch... and they were talking sponsorship, it’s just that THEY decided they wanted to change which way they went. We never paid a cent to Tippett, and if we had, it still wouldn’t have gone over the TPP.

Feel like I saw this in the last half of Dangers last season
If you can be arsed, go through my post history back to when I pointed out that Danger and Tex were frosty on field together at that time and everybody laughed at me.

Hint: I was on the money.

In saying that, I reckon Tex and Sloane’s personal relationship would be different as Sloane isn’t a self-involved flog.

I can’t be arsed, but now you mention it I do recall it (definitely other players -
Thommo, but not Tex - I especially remover after that Hawks semi final)

Tippett and his father are lower than a snake's belly after reading that excellent article by gun journalist Emma Quayle, what lazy big sack of shit Tippett really is.
