Nope. Leadership and knowing what it takes to be part of a successful club. Pushing them on the field. Underestimated IMO and would help our younger group immensely

Entirely different bringing in someone from another club you know is doing drugs .

You have to take those contract figures with a grain of salt.

Contracts can be performance based, having to hit targets of games played, BNF results, All Aus etc etc

Not saying I know the facts for the Fasolo proposed offer, but if it is $1mil over 3 seasons, and he doesn't play for whatever reason, that contract could be even half of that.

There are so many performance based trigger clauses in player contracts these days, a lot of the public just don't understand it.

Need to be careful we don't stifle development of talls due to limited places in the team. Look at North. Not really competitive so they need to move on Goldy, Waite and Thompson to give their younger talls a chance. Preust is not happy being overlooked all season.

Yes your right, mentoring and correct interpretation of coaches instructions,that Roughead or Mc Veigh can impart is so important, inestimable value to our youngsters.

In all seriousness without any inside knowledge, a lot of Freo fans thought their recruiting/list management was a shambles until Lloyd took over.

Good luck Brad.

I do have some concerns about inexperience at the levels of senior coach, Footy ops and GM simultaneously, but here's hoping they can overcome 20 years of stupidity.
