I'm neglecting Shred a bit this season but it's me not him.

I like this kid and it pisses me off when people start comparing him to Duggle. They are two completely different midfielders. Shred is traveling along very nicely. He is showing signs that he will be a very good midfielder for us.

He still has plenty to work on but he is also just a kid averaging 20 possies a game at AFL level this season. No harm in that.

Lay off or I'll belt you at gate three.

I thought more people compared him to Plodda than Hacksaw.

The comparison being used it the fact they are both young and first rounders. So they should be doing the same although Duggle is being overhyped to the max.

Two teenage left footers who play in the midfield are not comparable.

Right.
Not when both are different midfielders with different roles.

It's like comparing Kennedy with LeCras because they are both forwards.

You're not that dense are you that you can't tell the difference?

Ok lets have it your way and not compare anyone ever.
Because that is what I said.

Regardless fans should be happy we have two very good young players who will fill two different roles for the next 10 years.

Rising Star nomination soon one would suspect.

Spent a few weeks as sub and did well, back in the starting 21 and playing well, had a top game against the Tigers.

Next step for Dom is to get in there and get the ball.
Too much hovering around the packs for my liking.

Round 1 v Sydney (LOSS)

Dom Sheed started the season off well, amassing 23 disposals, 2 marks and a tackle.

Despite being labelled soft, unproductive or not P Cripps, Sheed managed to have 12 contested possessions in that mix. This was whilst playing a more outside role.

Looking ofrward to RND 2 where Sheed should be able to open up a woeful Doggies brigade.

Sheed has been very good the past 3 weeks, looking very strong in contests, hitting targets with his left boot. His game v Geelon in Rnd 3 was quite good, overcoming a horris start and finsidhing the Cats off in the 4th qtr.

Averaging 25 disposals with 14.5. kicks and 10.5 handballs, Sheed has stepped up in the absence of Priddis and Sam Mitchell.

Onya Sheed!

Sheed has endued a tough 2018 in the H&A season.

But that is all behind us now, Sheed was born for September.

WIll be WCE's player of the finals.
He is the WC player I most want to deliver the ball to our forwards, his vision and ability to hit a target is 2nd to none, but he's developed a really bad habit of going to ground with the ball rather than trying to keep his feet.
He will unfortunately get caught multiple times holding the ball in this finals series, hopefully his brilliant disposals can outweigh his deficiencies.
