Most of you don't know that Mitchell last season after many games would hardly train because he was battered and bruised from the week. How many games did he miss? The club has experience with players that are sore and how much time it will take them to recover. Players that don't look like taking their place in the team earlier in the week recover and play. Its why there is so much emphasis on recovery. If you get carried away by the status of players earlier in the week at least a 1/3rd of the team wouldn't play.

Chill guys

Shiels said it last year, he spends more time on the table than the track

So it seems we'll get a look at a Roughead, Gunston, Bruest and Wingard forward set up this weekend for the first time.

You mention those names, argh I wish Rioli was still out there playing as he and Wingard would’ve been a dynamic small forward duo.

Jaeger gets chipped a 30 meter pass, chest height. He waits, flat footed. A late spoiler arrives. Has anyone else noticed this, ten times in the last 12 months?

Please Jaeger, run to meet the pass.

There must still be a little Gold C*nt in him 😂

Apparently soon after trading for Wingard he tried to coax Cyril out of retirement. A Cyril return would be like when Michael Jordan came out of retirement 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼

Correct you are, not the only villain in the team with regard to this, Mitchell pre break, Morrison, Howe are all pretty handy at prop and wait. Gotta get it before you can turn and go. They have turn and go on the mind before the get.

I sincerely hope that any possible Cyril return goes extremely better than what MJ's return did, he was a shadow of his former self.

It was a little sad watching to be honest.

I’m talking about when MJ returned from his 1st retirement. He went on to win another 3peat of championships 😂

Sometimes they predict a ladder, then stubbornly predict individual games to fit that narrative, despite evidence and form to the contrary.
Brad said as much himself
Tops made a very good point regarding Brad's distaste for all things Hawthorn, here was just another weekly example.

Another 3.20pm Sunday game. Followed by Easter Monday. Then three of the next four games are more Sunday 3.20pm games. Surely I am not the only supporter who is fuming at this. It's a terrible timeslot. I get you cannot please everyone but to essentially fixture Hawthorn at 3.20pm for the first two months of the season begs belief.

JOM a real 50-50 apparently. Would be the worst midfield to ever run out if he misses.

Still staggered we didn’t take an extra mid with that pick. We’ve got nothing in reserve.

Where's the Jaeger 50/50 comment coming from?

Rough or Howe to play there if true

playing without TOM JOM Silk and Sheils...wow

Jaeg news is reliable. Won't name my source. I gather those naming Howe didn't attend Box Hill last weekend? Almost invisible for the entirety of the match. Admittedly he was playing inside mid but his stats were average at best. Ross obviously and Lewis the big standouts. TOB and KB did really well when called upon but it wasn't often.

We live in the day and age of fake news unfortunately

No doubt we live in a fake news era, however fake news has been going on for decades. Remember holland in the early 00s and late nineties. He was named every week for a month by memory when injured. Johnny barker as well...

I think it is the right move to take the micky out of all of us. Why disclose our true position. Just gives a leg up to the opposition. The club is doing its utmost to win games. That’s all we should care about. How they do so is irrelevant.

We are just a bunch of crazy supporters. Whilst we are stakeholders, we are not in any way significantly relevant to the outcome.

In Clarkson we trust.
