Good. That was one of our three easy ones that I had marked down before the season began. So to get the job done today and to break the 100 barrier is bloody sweet.

Dominated in midfield which was a welcome surprise...it's the key to us being a good team and only going to improve.
Can't remember the last time our mids had these sort of numbers:

Cripps - 36
SPS - 35
Murphy - 28
Fisher - 27
Walsh - 26
Gibbons - 21

Dow and LOB the only mids to let us down, but they are only second year players.

Also have Kennedy, Setterfield, Lang and Stocker to look forward to.

Breaking the 100 points, right on the siren, with a goal to the next big thing in Walsh really just capped off the day.

JSOS was fantastic. Took his VFL form into the game. Cas would be an elite forward if he didn’t make basic errors, still good on him for the 3 he kicked and the marks he did take.

Polson and LOB (sorry Soapy) need a spell in the VFL. Polson was barely sighted for four quarters - though he did produce two magnificent tackles and LOB looks frightened and unsure of himself. Thankfully we have some decent depth to replace them such as Kennedy and Willo.

Overall though that was a four quarter, team effort. Our defence has been wonderful all year, it was our mids who needed to stand up around Crippa and by golly gosh did they ever. Not just SPS but also Fish.

As for Harry Mac... Wow.

This is a turning point for us, no doubt.

Break out games for McKay, SPS and Fisher. They were fantastic. First time they've been able to put a 4 qtr performance in and it showed in the result.

Walsh is unbelievable. He's only going to get better which is just scary.

**** yes we stuck it to all those campaigners that threw the boots in all week.
